Essential Responsibilities:
- Ownership includes both quality assurance and quality control of delivered products, manufacturing processes, incoming supplier quality and product inspection.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge of Quality tools and strategies to drive strategic thinking and to develop and execute both yearly and long-term planning.
- Cross functional collaboration with Operations, EHS, HR, Finance, Lean & Digital, Sourcing, and Facility & Maintenance to deliver customer and business outcomes.
- Key deliverables include safety, delivered quality, internal defects rate and losses performance; and embracing lean culture to drive continuous improvement.
- Includes direct people management responsibility regarding staffing and performance development (QEP progression). Work in High Performance Teaming environment and lead Inclusion & Diversity at all levels.
- Develop and manage operational budget and staffing for Quality teams.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent from a reputed college /university with a minimum 15+ years of experience in diversified Manufacturing Operations (with significant Quality and Leadership experience).
- Hands on experience in Quality, Manufacturing Engineer, or Industrial Engineer in Manufacturing.
